A Victorian Christmas Potluck Lunch

Margaret, Patricia and Carole, I think they are all looking at me.
We had a wonderful Christmas Celebration, with our little group.

I wonder what Dawn is explaining to Lou?

Sharon handing out little gifts and Babs doing some applique prep.

Anna and Madeline intent on their projects.

That's me in the corner, holding court! Hee Hee

Patricia's beautiful Victorian Home was decorated to the nines.
This is a beautiful silver train in silver with blue lights.

Dawn made everyone these little candy sleds. Aren't they just the cutest???

It was a potluck with lots of little gifties in a beautifully
decorated home!

Look at this amazing antique fireplace

Dead Poets Society

That's what I feel this blog has become, but i don't sweat the small stuff! LOL
Oh well, I'll just post when I have time and when, I have something to say!!!
I havn't even posted pictures from the quilt show yet but anyway, you know I have to keep track of my quilts so.....I just found out my nephews new Baby is a girl!!!!!So, look at what I just printed and cut out!!!
I'm going to make a baby quilt for our little Henley with some wonderful Moda Vintage Modern that I've had waiting around for just the right project! Of course I'm making it using Inklingo, and took my inspiration from a free design on the Inklingo site, Cathi's

......Emma's Butterfly Stars! Don't you just love the fabric I'm using???
I'll have to do this one, at the same time I'm working on my 1.5 inch Patchwork of the Crosses! Of course you know both of the quilts will be hand pieced using Inklingo !!!

Here's a picture of 5 of my blocks, the others have to have the white added! My question here, if you can see, I've put in 5 different colours for backgrounds. Any idea which one or what other colour I should use. I'd love your feedback!!!!
So if you want to make a great quilt the easy way, check out

LOng Time, no post and Guild Show!!!!

I can't believe after all this time, I'm finally doing a new post!!! LOL Lots of things have kept me away from blogging. It's been a busy year, with house for sale and dealing with my job as Program Coordinator for The Lanark County Quilters Guild. I've also been trying to limit the amount of things I get involved in! I'm one of those people who takes on WAY too much!! Then my body tells me to stop!!!! So after a long break, and realizing our Guilds show is on at the end of this week...I'd better write in my blog. Since blogs are mostly for the person writing them, I really need to document this upcoming show!!!
Here are a few of my quilts that I am entering in the show!!!

I'll be back soon with lots more pictures from the show. If you're in the area, it's always a great show. Lanark County Quilters Guild, Perth, Ontario!
